Weekly Photo Challenge: Abandoned

Neglected for years.  How many of us have abandoned cassettes, LPs, and VHS tapes sitting in cabinets, shelves, boxes or storage waiting to be touched and played?  Guilty………with the evolving technology over the years my media has not been played.

This is one of my favorite subject matters and you did a nice job of capturing it. I, too, have a multitude of VHS and cassette tapes, and several hundred LPs, However, if I can ever get my conversion software to work on Windows 7, I’ll at least start converting my LPs and cassettes to mp3 files. You’re welcome to come and see my take on the matter. 🙂

Hi Cris- 4 years ago I did convert two LPs. It takes time and patience. I took a break and never continued. Thanks for sharing your information. I’ll check it out. Sally

Thanks. My conversion software worked on XP but not on Windows 7. It only takes as long to convert as it does to play it, although it does take a little time to separate and label the cuts. True. 🙂

I have a box like that back home in Germany in the attic. It’s closed, but not abandoned…
